Endless Battle
Chapter 1: new member, new rule
At the bridge...
It's been three months now, since we defeated the harvester fleet. Everyone was trying so hard to survive, especially those children. At last, we won. We can start a new life without worrying when the enemy strikes again. Mejele and Talark agree to cooperate for human's sake. I wonder how are Hibiki, Dita and the others doing there. They haven't contact us since they leave Nirvana. I hope that boy doesn't make any trouble. His big mouth should...
Gascogne: "Okashira! Okashira!"
Magno: (shocked) "Yes!"
Gascogne was explaining to Magno about her new plan for her registration department. But she stops when she found that Magno is not concentrate.
Gascogne: "Did you listening what I'm saying? (Curious)You seem have other thoughts on your mind."
Magno: "Sorry Gascogne. I'm just thinking about..."
Gascogne: "Hibiki."
Magno: (surprised) "Yes. How did you know?"
Gascogne: "Actually, our ship's ambience is kind of weird since that boy leaving. Everything is running smooth and it is too peaceful in our ship. No noise, no complaint, no..."
Magno: "Trouble. When that boy leaving, I thought that I can live a easier life but now it seems to be too easy."
Gascogne: "Since when we need someone to be our ship's 'mood operator'?"
Magno: "Since that boy started 'jogging' upon our sight."
Gascogne: (laughed) "Okashira, I never thought that you have such talent to be a joker."
Suddenly, Celtic cut through their talks.
Celtic: (with a serious tone) "Okashira, there's a contact from Talark."
Magno: "Connect it to the main screen."
Celtic: "Roger."
Gascogne: "I wonder who it is."
Hibiki appears in the main screen.
Hibiki: (with a smile) "Obasan!"
Everyone at the bridge was so surprise by that familiar voice.
Magno: (surprised) "Oh, it's you. How are you doing, sonny?"
Hibiki: "Everything is fine. We will back to Nirvana tomorrow."
Gascogne: (grinned) "Oh yeah! Let us play the poker again."
Hibiki: (conceited) "Why not. I will be no mercy on you this time!"
Gascogne: "Let's see who will win."
Magno: "Where are the others?"
Hibiki: "they quite busy with their own business. BC, traning her subdominant in the military camp. Duero, giving medical check up for those selected men. Bart, pretend like a lecturer, teaching his 'Living With Women' lesson to the Talark. The robo, always yell 'Pyoro 2'. The alien girl, she is with my grandpa now."
Misty pops out in the middle of conversation with Q-chan, which is with an angry emotion.
Misty: "How dare you show up yourself? How long you ever contact us?! Don't you know that we are very worrying you?!"
Sweat drops on everyone, including Hibiki.
Hibiki: "Sorry Misty. I...I'm just too busy these days."
Misty: "Oh! Busy about what? You and Dita's 'honey moon'. Oh! What a couple."
Hibiki: (flushed) "(yelled) it's not that I'm busying with! It's the duty which is been given by Jura."
Misty: "Selecting perfect men?"
Hibiki: "Yes! What else that you thought?!"
Misty: "Nothing. I just thought that you and Dita are making a baby."(smirked)
Hibiki: "WILL YOU JUST CUT IT OFF!?"
Misty: "Hey, Are you taking it seriously of Jura's order?"
Hibiki: "Not at all."
Everyone was faint.
Misty: "Then why are you so busy on that 'task'?"
Hibiki: "Because we need to let men and women live together in harmony, remember? I don't care about that old woman's. I just want to done my duty."
Jura who is in a bathrobe, with facial mask on her face and a towel wrapping her hair, rushing to the bridge. Behind her was a crew member who is after her and calling her name.
Jura: (very angry) "HIBIKI!!!"
Misty: "Em, Hibiki, the 'old woman' that you mentioned is coming."
Hibiki: "Oh my God! Somebody help me!"
Jura: "I'm really angry with you, Hibiki. I'm waiting for your call for three months. Where the hell did you went. And now, you call me old woman!"
Crew: "Jura-san!"
Jura: "What!"
Crew: "You can't talk."
Jura: "Why?"
Crew: "Because you are having a face treatment."
Jura: "Oh no!!"
Misty and the others, can't bare it any more, laughing aloud.
Jura: "Oh....! (with her fangs shows out) Hibiki, I'll make you pay for this."
Then, she went off with resentment.
Misty: (still laughing) "Hibiki, you will have a big problem to deal with if she gets the wrinkles instead of selecting suitable men. You will be cut into pieces."
Amarone: "Yeah. Now we have the 'old woman'."
Misty and Amarone laugh together.
Gascogne: "Yare yare!"
Hibiki already fainted because of Jura's horrible face.
Magno: (smiled and closed her eyes)"Looks like our ship had the spirit now."

On the next day,
Almost everyone is at the docking bay. Jura, who is pretending like a military commander, walking through the line of the selected men who were dressed like Bart's military uniform. She brushed her finger through those selected men's chest, making those selected men embarrassed. After the line check, she's found that there was a men who is suitable for her 'appetite'. Then she stopped and drew her attention to him and said "What's your name? Soldier."
23 years old Talark's military sergeant, who was 180 cm tall, light brown skin, bob black haired with some bangs like Voroa, Duero alike body, matching out from the line.
Soldier: (coldly) "Name, Kuhara Shota. Code, SA798235. Rank, sergeant."
Misty: (stand closely to Meia) "He sounds like you, onesan."
Meia: (blushed) "Misty!!"
Barnette: (can't stand it any longer) "Jura, what are you doing?!"
Jura: (glanced at Barnette then stared back to Shota) "Just checking the 'stock'."
Hibiki: (sighed softly with his eyes looking down at the corner) "Haven't changed a bit." (murmured)
Jura: (her body grow twice bigger) "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
Hibiki: (yelled back at Jura) "I just saying the truth!"
Jura: "You damn big mouth."
Hibiki: "So what if my mouth is big!?"
Dita, who was standing beside Hibiki, tried to calm down those two but wasn't successful.
Everyone ~sweat drops~
"Enough!!"
The docking bay immediately remained silent. Then, those selected men stand aside to give way for the silver haired women passing by. The elegant women then stood on the spot and began to give her command.
BC: "Alright everyone. Listen carefully."
Everyone included Magno, gave their attention to what the sub-commander was saying.
BC: "As you all know, these 30 men is from Talark. They came to Nirvana in order to be train to live with women. From now on, they will live with us. Is that clear?!"
Many crew were whispering.
Rebecca: "Excuse me, BC. I thought that Nirvana isn't has enough room for them."
BC: "There is enough room for them."
Meia, Dita, Jura: "The cell."
BC: "Yes, if those three can help to clean up the mess."
Everyone stared at Hibiki, Bart and Duero.
Hibiki and Bart were shock when there were many eyes watching at them while Duero gripped his chin and said "interesting."
Hibiki: (regain his consciousness) "Wh...at!?"
BC: "Three men will have to share a cell."
Hibiki: "No way."
Bart: (frowned) "Sub-commander. You are so cruel."
BC: (coldly) "Sorry Bart. That is the only choice."(turned to Magno) "Okashira, did you have anything to say?"
Magno walked slowly towards BC.
Magno: "I would like to announce that we are leaving from Mejere and Talark three days from today for a new journey."
Everyone was very happy to what they've heard. For Nirvana's crew, they need some adventure after three months relaxing.
Magno: "BC. After you finish with the new members problem, Check for the ship's condition and report to me when the ship is ready to leave."
BC: "Yes, okashira."(turn herself to the crew) "Dread team, vanguard pilot, Parfet and Gascogne, stay here for a while. The rest can dismiss and prepare for our journey."
The others were getting in to their post except Misty.
Misty: "Sub-commander! Can I stay here as well?"
BC: "Yes, you can."
Misty: "Thank you."
BC: (face to the sergeant) "Shota, dismiss the line."
Shota took the order, "Yes sir! (matched out from the line) Soldier! Dis...miss!"
Immediately, the line dismissed tidily.
Misty, Barnette, Jura and Dita stunned by the men's match, "Suteki!", they yelled.
The dread leader was lean with her back against the wall, her head was a bit lowered, her hands crossed and one of her sole stepped on the wall. ~sighed~
BC: "Men! Listen here! From now on, you all are no need to line in matching formation again. There is no military restraint anymore. Just serve yourself here like your home. Parfet, Is there any place to load those vanguard?"
Parfet: (confidently) "Of course. My engineer and I already prepared new hanger two weeks ago."
BC: "That's good. Gascog, load it up with Talark's vanguard. How is the arm storage? "
Gascogne: "Always full. By the way, my name is Gascogne."
Hibiki: (surprised) "Wait a minute. We're not going to have a battle anymore, aren't we?"
BC: "Yes. But we will need those when necessary."
Gascogne: (slightly slanted at BC) "BC, Why don't you relax a bit."
BC: (smiled) "I will, after finishing my job."
Dita: (interjected their talks) "Sub-commander, why are you ordered us to stay?"
BC: "Oh! I almost forget. Meia."
The blue haired girl immediately stood up from her resting pose and move forward to her sub-commander.
Meia: (stoic) "Hai."
BC: "You will be the formal dread leader. Voroa is leaving the team now."
Everyone at the scene was very shocked, except the men.
Meia: (surprised) "What?! But why?"
Voroa: (interrupted) "Because I want to have a peaceful life."
Jura: "But why so sudden?"
Voroa: "I found my own destiny."
Jura: "What destiny? Did you mean that..."
Voroa: (flushed) "I'm going to married."
Many were stunned, while the others surrounded and congratulated Voroa.
Barnette: (curious) "Who was the lucky man?"
Voroa: "He's a doctor."
Dita, Hibiki, Barnette, Jura were very astonished, "Duero!!", they said it together.
Voroa: "No! Not him! We're met each other for the first time when I'd been sent to Talark in order to pass the message to BC and the others. My cruiser was losing control and crush into the land. I had minor injury and unconscious. Luckily, He save me and been so caring on me."
Misty: (with envy sight) "How romantic."
Jura: "How come we didn't know?"
Voroa: "I don't want to let you worry."
Barnette: (regretted) "Too bad. We can't prepared any ceremony or present for you because we're short of time."
Voroa: (smiled) "It's okay."
Then, Voroa reminded about the usually gloomy girl who was stand about a meter from the crowd. Voroa walked toward the girl while the crowd spread out. She put her hand on the girl's shoulder.
Voroa: "Meia, take care."
Meia: "Demo..."
Voroa: (shook her head) "You can make it. Trust me."

Chapter 2: conflict
BC: (clap her hands twice) "You can plan the farewell later after I done this. Listen! Although Shota was the leader of vanguard pilots. But, there's can't be two leaders at the same time. So, I decided to choose one of them. Meia, will be the vanguards leader instead of in charge of the dread team."
"That's unfair!" one of the selected men stepped forward and shouted out. He was about the age of 18, had half long sea blue haired, light coloured skin and a bit short than Shota. Everyone saw him gripped his fist and gritted his teeth. When he was about to grumble out his reasons for refusing the command, "Stay off, soldier!" the sergeant ordered. Then, the younger man kept quite to obey his senior officer.
"It's alright," the sub-commander said. "He is one of the Nirvana's crew and he has the right to bring up his opinion," she continued. "Why are you protested?" she asked the inconvenienced crew who was lower his head.
The younger soldier felt surprise. He widened his eyes before lifted up his head and reply. Everyone put their sight on that Talark. The soldier was confuse a while. But when he saw Shota gave him a nod, he began to have the courage to explain. "I think that young lady is not enough capable to assume this responsibility," he answered it confidently.
The women were so surprised to hear those words. Even the self-righteous, Hibiki felt so. "Meia is not capable?" "Onesan?!" "Leader?!" those word kept repeating. Only the men and both leader kept silent.
"What let you think so?" the silvered woman felt odd and asked. "We all knew that she has the leadership when she's with her dread. But a capable leader also must good in a close combat with or without the weapon instead of having the ability to give command," the soldier continued.
That reminded Hibiki about Meia. "Oh! That's aware me something about it!" Hibiki tap his fist on his palm. Everyone have their spotlight at him. Hibiki turned his head to Meia. "I haven't seen you use any weapon or your fist in a close battle other than the laser ring. Am I right?" he said it in a relief tone.
"Hibiki!!" the women shouted at him except Meia who just felt surprise of his words.
"Okay! Okay...!" Hibiki surrendered with his palms towards the upset women.
"See, he also admitted it," the soldier mocked the women.
Jura can't stand it anymore. "So what if he's admitted it?! He's one of the Talark!" Jura's face turned to an evil witch.
"Yeah! Leader is a well fighter since I join the pirates!" Dita joined the argument.
"Then prove it!" the soldier challenged. Then, he calmed down himself and said, "I'm really sorry to say that but I think her soft and weak body can't even lift up this iron rod, don't even think of defeat one of our men here." He took an iron rod which is about 5 ˝ feet long and 3 cm diameter to show it to the women while he was saying.
"Oh..!" the women shocked by those words and those were really upset them.
"Boy! Are you only looking down on her or all of the women?" Rebecca, who was standing beside Voroa questioned the soldier.
"Both." The soldier answered casually.
"What!?" Rebecca cried out.
"Hibiki, he has the same big mouth as yours." Pyoro, suddenly appeared behind Hibiki with Kahlua on his back. The robo had grinning looking eyes.
"WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP!!" Hibiki yelled at Pyoro while Kahlua tap her small hands repeated on Pyoro's head.
Meia, still remained silent.
"Joe, you're had enough!" Shota advised his subdominant.
"But leader..." the soldier said with his innocent face.
"No but! You must learn how to respect the others while talking although you're saying the truth." Shota cut off his subdominant with his cold tone.
"Hey! What do you mean by those words?" Barnette defended herself and other women.
"No other meaning." Shota said.
"You...!" Barnette was burn with anger although she tried very hard to keep herself calm.
Immediately, almost the women and the men at the docking bay drown into a verbal battle. The little Kahlua cried because she was been frightened by the adult.
"Looks like we having another trouble." Dita sighed.
Gascogne, BC, Meia ~sighed~
"QUEIT!!!" Hibiki screamed.
The men and the women stared at Hibiki. Even Kahlua stopped crying.
"This problem can't be solve unless you calm down and think, not arguing!" Hibiki spoke out.
"Do you have any constructive idea?" asked BC.
"I do!" said Hibiki with confident.
"What is it, Ujiujinsan?" Dita asked him curiously.
"Stop calling me like that, you baka!" Hibiki was frantic.
"What's the point? Just say it, okay?" Jura cried out. She was very impatient.
"We can have the competition between the men and the women. Shota will be the leader if the men win and it is same as the women. Meia will be the leader if the men lose," said Hibiki.
"You mean we have to fight?" Jura asked.
"A fight?" asked BC while she puts her hand on her waist.
"Why not? Let the men be the winner!" that soldier cried out.
"Yeah...." All the men were in a spirit.
Women ~sweat drops~
"Men are idiot." Jura murmured.
"What's your problem? Scared?!" One of the vanguard pilots teased.
"HELL NO!!" Jura replied it with a deep voice and had her eyes stared at the pilot.
"Is it so important to choose the leader is a man or woman?" Barnette frowned.
"Yes it is!" Jura answered Barnette. "If Meia be the leader, the men will have to obey us. If Shota win, then we have to obey the men." Jura continued.
"What an evil old woman," said Misty casually.
"You will finish as well as the men after this battle, Misty!" Jura warned.
"I 'm SO SCARED!!" Misty teased.
"BC, looks like we can't avoid the battle." Gascogne said to the shorter woman who was beside her.
"Alright then." BC said to Gascogne with a look of 'I can't help it'.
Then, BC turned her body face the crew and said, "The fight is one on one and it has 2 rounds. The first round is without the weapon and the second round is with the weapon. If the men and the women win one of these round, then both of the leader, Meia and Shota will have to fight for the final. Is there any objection?"
"No!!" both men and women cried out with spirit.
"Men and women! Let the fight begin!" said BC.

Chapter 3: who is the leader? (part I)
The men and women spread into two crowds.
In the women's crowd...
Jura was over excited and ran to Meia, "Meia! Go! Help us to defeat those stupid!" Then, she gripped Meia's hand and going to bring her to the "battle field". The blue haired girl blinked because of Jura's action. Then, she stood on the spot and confused to fight.
"What's wrong, Meia?" Jura stopped and asked.
"I think that you guys are going too far." The usually emotionless dread leader said with more animated tone.
"Go...ing too far?" Jura felt herself doesn't understand what the stoic girl said.
"I think it's okay to let the men be the leader." Meia explained.
"No! It's not okay to let those brats ruin our life!" Misty pops out in front of Meia.
"Misty! Not you too!" Meia protested.
"Hey! Can't find a suitable person?" one of the men teased the women with his head turned to the women.
"Stay out of this AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, kid!!!" Jura's fangs showed up again with her head pops out from the crowd.
Then, Jura squeezed herself into the crowd again.
"See! Meia, can you stand it with their attitude?" Jura convinced the gloomy girl.
"It's true that they are rude. But I already stood it for a year since Hibiki appeared." Said Meia.
Then, the women had their eyes on Hibiki, who was standing between the two crowds. Hibiki was lean against the wall with his hands between the wall and his head. His eyes were close up. Besides him was Pyoro.
"What!" Hibiki cried out when he found himself was in the attention.
The women turned back their head slowly.
"Why they looking at me?" Hibiki felt odd.
"Who knows? Maybe they are gossiping about you." Pyoro said. "You know, women are inexplicable." The robo continued. Then, Hibiki and Pyoro found themselves nodded together.
Back in the women crowd...
"Meia, Hibiki is not the same." Jura disagreed.
"So yo, although Ujiujinsan is an alien, but he isn't a bad alien like them!" Dita interrupted.
"Why not? He is also a man, from Talark, has a big mouth." Meia said with a cold tone.
"Why are you so stubborn?" asked Barnette.
"I'm not stubborn! I'm just felt that the battle is unnecessary and it is nonsense." Meia still protest.
"You scared, aren't you?" Jura teased.
"How many times am I going to explain this, I'm not..." Meia raised her tone a bit.
"Scared." Jura said it with her hands crossed.
"Meia, I beg you, please...!" Jura turned into a child and swung Meia's hand with her eyes sparkled.
"Jura!" Meia felt annoy.
"Meia, how cruel you are! We haven't begged you before. Can't you just help us once? Please! There are about 150 lives in your hand, Meia!" Jura continued with her movement.
"I will help you if I can, but not in this fight." Meia regained her cold tone
"Meia, are you going to fight or not?" Barnette questioned.
"Final answer - No!" Meia cried out.
With such problem, dread pilots and Misty went off to and group another crowd away from Meia while the dread leader looked at them curiously.
"We can't convince her like that, she's refuse to cooperate," said Dita.
"Looks like we have no choice but to use force." Jura suggested.
The others in the crowd nodded. Then, Meia saw them turned into a cunning face and slowly move forward to her.
"Meia, are you going to cooperate or not?" Barnette said those words with creepy tone.
"A.a..a..." Meia was too shocked to say a word.
"Girls, grab her!"
With Jura's command, all the girls run towards their dread leader. When they were about to caught Meia.....
"Okay! Okay! I surrender!" Meia said unwillingly.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!..." Jura acted like a child.
"Why am I always been drown into trouble?" Meia muttered.
"Onesan, don't be sad. Cheer up!" Misty advised her big sister.
"Hey, don't waste the time anymore!" rushed Gascogne.
"Oh yes! We don't have any time." Jura awared.
Then, Jura and Dita quickly pushed their dread leader to the 'battle field'. When Meia was change her mind and about to protest again, she already in the center of the attention gathered place ---- the 'battle field'.
Meia looked left and right which were gathered with men and women separately. She was very nervous and her mind was in the maze.
"Onesan, kanpate ne!" Misty cheered.
"Woman, try your best!" Hibiki also gave his support.
After looking at Misty and Hibiki, the blue haired girl can only sighed for her misfortune.
"Are you women really that weak? Is she the best between you women?" Joe teased.
"Just shut your mouth! Now where is her opponent?" Jura cried out.
"Don't worry! He will be right here in a moment. Don't regret it later if you lose." Joe said confidently.
"Hugo, have your time." The younger soldier called.
Hugo was bald and about two head tall than Meia. When he took off his uniform, leaving the singlet on him, the women saw his big muscular body and dark skin like Hibiki. There was a long scar on his arm. His look was terrorising the women. Then, the giant stepped forward calmly to the stage.
"You jerk! How can you send someone like him to this fight? That's unfair." Barnette exclaimed.
"Don't you remember? There is no rule which is stated no muscular guy. If you think that girl is the best, then she has to face it." Joe said.
"Sub commander!" Barnette appealed to BC.
"He's right, Barnette." BC said.
Barnette was surprised by those words. She can only upset with her teeth gripped. She glared at the men's leader, Shota, who stood still and watched his subdominant action without saying any word.
"Hugo! Don't kill her." Joe teased. Then, the men's crowd began to laugh at the Meia, who's been considering as a weak person.
"Don't worry, I'll take a good care on her." Hugo said with deep tone while he makes his fingers and his head sounded 'crack'.
Jura and the other dread team was on fire, except Dita, who was just worrying her leader.
"I wonder if leader is fine with it." Dita murmured to Hibiki.
"Ah! She will be fine." Hibiki closed his eyes and acted like he didn't care about the stoic girl at all. Actually, he worried about his friend too. Then, he put his sight on the blue haired girl who was calmly watching her opponent and ignored the laughter.
"I wonder what's on her mind." Hibiki thought.
Gascogne move to the middle of the stage. "Ready, start."
When the fight was on, Hugo, who was about 30 meters away from Meia, immediately dashed against the dread leader like a bull while Meia, did not take any actions.
"Why onesan didn't move at all? Is she been too terrified by the giant?" Misty asked Barnette.
"What did you know in a fight? This is call 'pirate style'!" Barnette smirked.
Misty's eyes became small while Jura had sweat drops on her head.
"I never heard that before!" Jura said.
"Hehehe..." Barnette smirked.
When Hugo was about 15 meters away....
"Aah, Barnette, is it the enemy was too close to onesan?" Misty asked with a bit worried.
Barnette awared that the blue haired girl is in dangerous. "Meia! Evade it!" She cried out.
The blue haired girl didn't respond. She stayed there like a statue.
The women and Hibiki were begun to worry the elusive girl.
"Meia! That's the limit!" BC shouted.
"Is she deaf or what?" Hibiki said.
The 'frozen' girl caught Shota's attention. "What's in her mind?" he thought. Even Shota put his sight on her without blinking.
Hugo was bashed against Meia closer and faster. The ambience grew into more tense when the audiences were silent. Jura, bitten her finger nails like the typing machine while the women gritted their teeth.
"Look! The girl is too scared to move." Joe teased.
"Onesan, what are you thinking?" Misty very worried
The dread leader remained still on the spot with her eyes focused on her opponent.
"Oh! I can't see it anymore!" Dita feared and put her palm against her face.
When the giant was about 5 meters away...
"Meia!" "onesan" the women on the scene cried out.
"Move! Damn it! Are you nut!?" Hibiki exclaimed.
When the giant was speed up to the maximum, Meia narrowed her eyes.
Shota finally aware that Hugo had been tricked. "No! Hugo!" Shota warned him.
But it was too late.
The blue haired dread leader stepped her foot aside and dodged the dashed swiftly when Hugo was in the position to knock off Meia with his head.
"Huh!" Hugo missed the aim and immediately crashed himself to the wall.
Gascogne quickly stood beside the collapsed figure and raised her arm. "K. O! The women win." Gascogne said loudly.
"Yey...." The crowd of women cheered when the giant passed out. Kahlua, also laughed.
"Ah! She did it." Hibiki stunned.
"Hugo!!" some of the men cried out and quickly support the giant out from the stage.
Dita, slowly put down her hands after heard the cheered. "Are we won?" Dita asked.
"Yes! Dita! We won!" Misty sobbed.
"What a woman." BC shook her head and blinked her eyes slowly.
"Hey! Kid! Did you have anything to say?" Jura teased back the soldier.
"We have a good doctor and advanced medical technology. You're the lucky number one to try it!" Barnette joined.
This time was the turn of the women laughed.
